Factoring in the cost of land, grapes, barrels and labor, your dollar may not stretch as much as it used to while buying wine. Fortunately, as our latest Tasting Highlights shows with West Coast values, many wineries are committed to delivering wines at reasonable prices. From Pinot Noir to Cabernet Sauvignon to Merlot to sparkling wine and more, this diverse group offers tremendous bang for your buck.

As a category, sparkling wine often features expensive bottlings; bubblies can be labor-intensive to make, and wineries have to keep them stored for a few years before release, upping prices. Argyle was founded in Oregon's Willamette Valley with a grower-first mentality, and since then, quality grapes have yielded quality wines. The winery's vibrant vintage brut assembles grapes from four estate vineyards, and this bubbly's spice flavors highlight tropical fruit and toasted hazelnut accents.

This lineup also includes Seven Hills' Cabernet Sauvignon Walla Walla Valley 2022, a sleek Washington red with dark fruit and espresso notes. Read on to get our score and full tasting note for this fantastic West Coast value wine and eight others.

Tasting Highlights' wine reviews are fresh out of the tasting room, offering a sneak peek of our editors' most recent ratings—including scores and full tasting notes—to WineSpectator.com members.
