Silver anniversaries demand both baubles and bubbles, and filmmaker Sofia Coppola is celebrating the 25th birthday of Sofia Wines by partnering with Brooklyn-based jewelry brand Catbird to launch a limited-edition jewelry collection.
Sofia sparkling wines were created by filmmaker and Inglenook winery owner Francis Ford Coppola in honor of his daughter Sofia. However, for the first time in the wine’s history, Sofia herself has gotten involved with the line by overseeing the brand’s anniversary redesign.

Sofia wanted her namesake to carry her creative imprint, with an updated label and packaging that felt authentic to both her personal aesthetic and the brand. Further commemorating the anniversary, Sofia Wines is partnering with another brand that reflects a fun, feminine and affordable lifestyle: Brooklyn's Catbird jewelry studio.
The boutique jeweler known for sustainable collections made from predominantly recycled diamonds and 14K gold is a favorite among fashion-forward celebs, including Emma Watson, Michelle Williams and Meghan Markle, who helped put Catbird on the map by stepping out wearing Catbird's Threadbare stackable rings.
Coppola counts herself among the brand's admirers, and Catbird founder Rony Vardi and chief creative officer Leigh Plessner are longtime fans of her work and style, making the collaboration a perfect fit.

“Both brands speak to everyday luxuries that have the power to transform the ordinary into something special," said Mary Burnham of Sofia parent company Delicato Family Wines. "It’s why sparkling wine and jewelry are so often gifted—because they feel like treats, and each says something personal about a person’s taste."
The Sofia x Catbird collection features two wine-inspired charms made with recycled 14 karat gold that are meant to be worn together: a miniature blanc de blancs bottle ($198) and an aluminum can pop tab ($108), commemorating the Sofia Mini's role as a pioneer in the quality canned wine category.
