Château Lagrézette towers above a bend in the serpentine Lot River in southwest France, the 15th century edifice striking evidence of the long history of the Cahors region. Forty years ago the estate lay in ruin, but its beauty, and the potential of its terroir, drew the attention of successful and flamboyant French businessman Alain Dominique Perrin.
